Winter access: The home sits on a hilltop with a steep driveway. During snowy or icy conditions, a 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended. The home does not have AC but most summer nights the temperature drops to the 60s and even 50s. Thanks to its elevated position, it benefits from natural cross-breezes and cooler mountain temperatures. Each bedroom is equipped with a fan. Nature setting: The property is surrounded by forest and wildlife—occasional sightings of deer are part of the experience.

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. The home is beautifully designed and furnished and a wonderful getaway for our family of five. We love the local area - it’s a great central location to visit the Catskills.

We loved staying at Salvatore's house! It was modern, clean and very comfortable for our family of 4. We had a great ski weekend at Belleayre which is just 15 minutes away and loved being so close to downtown Margaretville which has great grocery shops and restaurants. The views from the home are gorgeous, we'd love to come back over the summer for some hiking! Salvatore was great, so flexible and easy to work with. We really enjoyed our stay!

What a gorgeous, pristine, sleek place to stay to ring in 2026. We were there for three nights - made excellent use of the beautiful kitchen and cooked the whole time. Salvatore is a wonderful host. The home is spotless; the beds are super comfortable and the tranquility is unmatched. The fireplace inside is AMAZING, along with countless other amenities. Thank you for everything we will surely return.

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting with a gorgeous view, perfect for a quiet getaway. The space was spotless (and I’m very particular about cleanliness) and had a lovely minimal Scandi vibe. The host was responsive and shared helpful tips. Highly recommend.

we had a beautiful thanksgiving week here and would absolutely return. it’s private, perched up high on the mountain with beautiful views of the catskills. cozy, hygge scandi design and extremely comfortable. has everything one would want in a catskills getaway.

Nice place! Cool Scandinavian design. The fireplace and heated wood floors keep the place very cozy. Bedding was very nice. Great place to visit in the cooler part of the year for a relaxing time with family.

This Airbnb is actually a bit better than what you see in the pictures. The layout is unorthodox but very cool. All bedrooms are on the ground floor, with a large kitchen and living room on the second. A ton of balcony’s and outdoor areas. Beautiful surroundings and fairly remote. The host was very responsive and helpful. No service but WiFi is available and 20-30 mins to some great restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend.
